The bolster is hand engraved following the Sheridan style of leather carving, which was developed during the last century and is so beloved by westerners today. Robb is the first engraver to incorporate this intricate pattern of flowers and vines into his work. In addition to the stunning floral designs, It is characterized by having more depth than engraving techniques such as Western Bright Cut or Single Point.
